So I traveled to edge of Elk Grove, CA – to a wide open area to perform my Phantom 4 Pro plus Obsidian range test. I did have an overhead wires, which effected my signal somewhat, but I believe I effectively showcased the P4 range and it not being an issue as others have been describing. Remember to turn your phones WIFI off, and if you are in heavy WIFI urban type area; be sure to switch the signal to 5.8GHz from 2.4GHz.
