Skydio 3 (likely in development) has a real opportunity to poise itself as a leader in an industry of established titans. DJI is widely considered the largest drone provider, but surprisingly lacks the technology that Skydio has as its bread and butter. I believe Skydio has a real opportunity to adjust itself in certain small features that could propel itself as the #1 drone provider in the world. IMO Skydio does not yet fully serve drone pilots who operate their drone(s) using a controller. Its that mindset that Skydio has that neglects and undervalues itself when producing their products. IMO the largest consumer of drones purchases are pilots desiring a controller interface as its highest of priority. Skydio needs to make the Skydio 3 have a premium controller and integrate manual flight BETTER with their award winning obstacle avoidance AI type system.
